Village Restorations & Consulting will be glad to come to your site and give an assessment of your cabin or period log or stone house. We will provide a written report at the conclusion of the visit with suggestions on what may be done. Or we may advise you during the assessment that the structure can not be saved. With over 30 years experience there are not too many problems that we have not seen or issues that we have not dealt with in historic restorations. Fees for the day is $250. If a job is over 200 miles away from Altoona, PA then we may ask for you to send photos over the internet and we can make a long distance assessment which is $200. or you can pay for travel expenses.
